Dr. Stanley Lau

Dr. Stanley K. Lau, our founder and CEO, is an interventional cardiologist trained at the University of Southern California and specialized in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, coronary artery stenting, intravascular ultrasound, renal and peripheral diagnostic angiograms as well as pacemaker implantation. He has extensive experience in Coronary CT Angiogram and Cardiac MRI. He has a level III (highest) Certification in CCTA by Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and a Level II Certification in Cardiac MR by Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, in addition to being board certified in, Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Hypertension Specialist. Dr. Lau serves on the Board of Directors for the Western States Affiliate of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.

Dr. Yih Jen (Edwin) Kok

Dr. Yih Jen (Edwin) Kok joined the staff in 2001. He is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in invasive and interventional cardiology (including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, coronary artery stenting, laser angioplasty, intra-vascular ultrasound, and rotational atherectomy), as well as in non-invasive cardiology including transthoracic echocardiogram, transesophegeal echocardiogram, exercise stress echocardiogram, dobutamine echocardiogram, and peripheral non-invasive studies (arterial and venous). He is certified for performing cerebral, renal and peripheral diagnostic angiogams, peripheral and renal artery angioplasty and stenting, and insertion of inferior vena cava filters. He was the Chief of Cardiology at Garfield Medical Center in 2006 and served as Vice Chief of Medicine at Garfield Medical Center in 2008.
